ClimbTo350: March Report
All the jobs that were advertised on ClimbTo350
I figured I’d write this report every month so you can see for yourself what’s been advertised on ClimbTo350, and decide whether or not you want to pay for their membership, or for any other for that matter.
If you don’t know what it is, ClimbTo350 is one of, if not the most popular aviation job board.
I’d decided to give it a try for a couple months last year, and I just didn’t believe it was worth it for low-time pilots afterwards.
Earlier this year, with the jump season approaching, I figured I’d give it another shot.
And I actually landed a job through it.
so, with that in mind, do I still think it’s not worth it?
Boring answer: depends.
I’ll go more in-depth as to why I signed up again even though I didn’t want to waste money in something that barely posts any low-time jobs.
But first, here are screenshots of ALL the jobs they posted on their members-only job board in March.

As you can see, depending on what your total flight time is or what cerfiticates and ratings you hold, the amount of low-time jobs that were posted can be counted on two hands.
If you have your CFI and can relocate for example then yeah, it might be worth it. What’s $20 if you end up getting a job, right?
That’s also why I decided to give their membership another go: how much would finally getting paid to build hours be worth?
I knew from scrolling through all the jobs they posted last year that the best time to subscribe was when seasonal hiring would start back up, so I did.
And I was right: they posted 5 C182 Jump Pilot jobs in March alone.
As I said in my last email, I knew 3 of these jobs were hiring even before they were posted on ClimbTo350.
However, I didn’t know about the other 2 jobs, one of which I eventually got.
Wouldn’t you agree then that paying $80 for the yearly membership was worth it? I’d say it was.
It was an educated gamble, and it paid off.
So I wanted to share with you what kind of jobs were posted this month on ClimbTo350, and let you decide if you want to bet on it too, or not.
I personally think if you are going to sign up for the monthly membership, you might as well just sign up for the yearly one. I highly doubt there’s going to be that many low-time jobs in the next couple months, but when survey season kicks up, maybe? We know for a fact JAV Imagery post their jobs there.
Oh, a little trick about the ClimbTo350 membership: if you sign up for one month and cancel, they’ll offer you a $10 dicount on the yearly membership if you upgrade.
There’s also JSFirm (free) or BizJetJobs (paid), if you want more options—I haven’t done extensive research and trial on either so I can’t really tell you what to expect there.
And it’s because of all of this that I decided to curate low-time pilot job ads in the Low-Time Pilot Job Board. I check ClimbTo350 everyday so you don’t have to, and send a screenshot of job posts that are low-time.
Fun fact: you can’t filter jobs per hour requirements on there, and they don’t email you. You have to check manually.
Now, since I think them charging $20/month is too much, I obviously had to make it a price I myself would pay.
My point is, at the end of the day, it simply comes down to how much that flying job is worth to you. I’ve seen people pay $100+ monthly for coaching or career services and if that’s also the kind of help you think will get you closer to your goals then go for it.
Of course, PLEASE, keep networking your #1 channel. You can read my original take on the whole job board thing here if you’d like, you’ll see I may have changed my mind a little today, but I still believe there’s more efficient ways to find jobs.
But yeah.
I hope this little breakdown of how I see things after almost a year on the job market was insightful.

P.S: You know that jump pilot job that I got?
I sent its ClimbTo350 job post to the Low-Time Pilot Job Board subscribers—yeah, probably a little stupid to add more candidates to a job I’m applying for myself, but I said I’d share every job I come across so I kept my word.
And I still got the offer anyway, so stupidity is no big deal!
