AD-HOC UPDATE ON THE COMMUNITY LIST

4th EDITION feat. my favourite job search tools

Hi folks, hope yall had a happy thanksgiving. šŸ¦ƒ

A little different this time aroundā€¦

Iā€™m compiling at the end of this email links to job boards I personally use. All free. No affiliation with any. Just cool websites.

Today we have 5 new leads and 3 hiring requirements update. Well, we technically have 7 leads but the two iā€™m about to share in a little more details below are not ā€œflyingā€ jobs.

MAKERS AIR: 250TT

MEISINGER AVIATION: 450TT 200PIC 25ME

THIS ONE IS FOR THE CFIs OF THE COMMUNITY

If you are or plan on becoming a flight instructor, airlinecadet.com has a long list of flight schools hiring entry-level CFIs. Itā€™s even sorted by state! A lot of the non-CFI jobs we have on the list are actually from there. But whoever used to maintain that job board has now stopped, so you guys are stuck with me.

You ever have remarks and suggestions, have at it! I reply to every email.

WHAT ARE THE TWO ā€œFLYINGā€ JOBS

Ever heard of CAE and Flight Safety International? hint: the biggest training facilities in the US (and worldwide). Well, they often need someone in the right-seat of their simulators to fulfill SIC roles for their clients during training. Thatā€™s where youā€™d come in!

Not all of these hours will be loggable. Itā€™s more of a paid networking opportunity, as you get to meet a lot of people. Supporting crew members will typically get a job offer from one of their simulator partners. If your goal is oriented towards a corporate setting, this could be the way.

Both organization have their own requirements.

FSI: 450TT, Commercial Pilot with appropriate category, class and instrument ratings.

CAE: 400TT 50ME, Commercial Pilot with multi-engine land and instrument ratings.

MY 3 FAVORITE FREE JOB SEARCH WEBSITES

Avwrk.com is good. Even when a position is filled, the listing stays up, so we know what the company is looking for.

Jsfirm.com has the biggest database. Smaller companies sometimes directly list their openings there instead of their own website. Thatā€™s actually the case here, check this job out if you meet the minimums: CMEL and a 2nd Class medical.

I use AirlinePilotCentral.com to find information on part 135 companies such as hiring requirements, pay, schedule and training agreements.

Iā€™m a big believer of talking/networking your way into a job. Job listings are still a great starting point.
